Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta highlighted the importance of farmers’ welfare and overall village progress during a meeting with farmers. The discussion, held at Jan Seva Sadan, focused on addressing farming issues and regional requirements. The government has instructed officials to promptly address farmers’ concerns with sensitivity.
The Chief Minister’s initiatives, including resuming wheat procurement at MSP and promoting Solar Energy in fields, were well-received by farmer representatives. Expressing commitment to agricultural empowerment, Chief Minister Gupta credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for the government’s efforts in this regard.
In a separate event, 36 families in East Delhi were provided long-awaited electricity connections by the Chief Minister. The families in Harsh Vihar A-3 had been waiting for this essential service for nearly a decade. Chief Minister Gupta assured ongoing support to resolve issues faced by Delhi residents, emphasizing the government’s proactive approach to public grievances.
To address the electricity needs of these families, transformers are being swiftly installed as part of a mission to expand electricity access. The Chief Minister’s interaction with the families was attended by Northeast Delhi MP Manoj Tiwari, underscoring collaborative efforts to improve living conditions in the region.
