Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta highlighted the state government’s focus on women’s health during the “Women in the Medical Profession (Multi-specialty Meet)” event. She praised the significant contributions made by women in the healthcare sector and affirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing healthcare services, awareness programs, and medical facilities for women’s access to quality healthcare.

Women are actively involved in various medical roles such as doctors, surgeons, researchers, nurses, and health specialists, as mentioned by Chief Minister Gupta. She emphasized that beyond patient care, women in healthcare play a crucial role in fostering a healthier and safer society through their dedication and compassion. The Chief Minister also acknowledged the humane touch that women bring to the practice of medicine.

At the event held at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, Chief Minister Gupta commended the institution for its longstanding commitment to excellence, trust, and healthcare service. She lauded the hospital’s contributions to patient care, medical education, research, and modern healthcare services. Additionally, she recognized the hospital’s efforts in promoting women’s leadership roles in the medical field.

Chief Minister Gupta praised the women healthcare professionals at the hospital for their significant societal contributions through talent and dedication. She highlighted their role in improving patients’ lives and serving as inspirational figures for future generations. Expressing confidence in the hospital and its female medical professionals, she emphasized their continued importance in raising health awareness and fostering a healthier, more empowered society.
