Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta recently conducted ‘Kanya Pujan’ in Pitampura, distributing bicycles to 1,000 girl students from nine schools to support their education. Emphasizing the government’s dedication to ensuring uninterrupted education for girls in Delhi, CM Gupta aims to eliminate obstacles hindering girls’ academic progress.

Addressing the media, CM Gupta highlighted the challenges girls face in commuting to school and introduced the ‘Vidya Vahini’ program. This initiative provides bicycles to girls entering Class 9, enabling them to travel conveniently during their school years. The Chief Minister praised girls as embodiments of strength and expressed optimism about their future achievements.

CM Gupta commended the girls, likening them to forms of Durga and Saraswati, and extended her blessings for their success. She affirmed the government’s commitment to supporting girls in completing their education without hindrances, enabling them to pursue their desired careers. Additionally, she criticized former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over alleged misappropriation of public funds in the construction of a ‘Sheesh Mahal.’

In a social media post celebrating Kanya Pujan, CM Gupta described daughters as symbols of strength and divine blessings. She emphasized the significance of daughters in society, highlighting their role as bearers of good fortune and sources of happiness. The post conveyed well wishes for prosperity and happiness, acknowledging daughters’ positive impact on families and society.
