Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated a ‘Jan Kalyan Shivir’ at the MCD Community Hall in Sandesh Vihar, Shalimar Bagh. The camp, part of a series at 42 locations till June 20, aims to offer citizens easy access to welfare schemes and services from both Central and Delhi governments. The event was attended by Tri Nagar legislator Tilak Ram Gupta and other dignitaries.
The initiative intends to streamline the process for citizens who previously had to visit multiple offices for scheme benefits. By bringing services to their doorstep, the government aims to provide solutions efficiently. Separate counters at the camps cater to various departments like the Delhi Jal Board and House Tax Department for quick assistance.
Chief Minister Gupta highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring no eligible person misses out on scheme benefits. The camps offer a variety of services under one roof, including assistance for Pink Cards, Ration Cards, e-Shram Cards, and more. The aim is to make government services easily accessible to all residents.
The ‘Jan Kalyan Shivir’ camps also provide information on schemes like the Prime Minister SVANidhi Scheme, Aadhaar registration, and support for MSMEs. Additionally, services related to education support, caste certificates, and distribution of saplings are available. The government’s focus is on inclusivity and reaching every individual in need.
