Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated various IT initiatives, including the “CM Jan Sunwai Portal” and mobile app, to offer online services like e-district services and school admissions for disadvantaged groups. These efforts aim to provide transparent and corruption-free government services to Delhi residents, aligning with the ‘Digital India’ vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event, held at the State Secretariat, was attended by Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood, IT Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh, senior officials, and dignitaries. Chief Minister Gupta emphasized that these digital platforms bridge the gap between the government and the people, reflecting the government’s focus on ‘good governance’ and inclusive development.
The CM Jan Sunwai Portal and app serve as an integrated platform for citizens to register complaints related to various government departments on a single interface. The system is designed to be user-friendly, allowing easy submission of grievances through online portals, mobile apps, call centers, and offline channels, with a structured grievance redressal mechanism in place.
Chief Minister Gupta highlighted the importance of public engagement through physical Jan Sunwai sessions while introducing the digital platform for remote grievance registration. Citizens can access the ‘Jan Sunwai Portal’ online to lodge complaints, and an Android app ‘CM Jansunwai’ is available for download. The platforms enable citizens to track grievance status, send reminders, and provide feedback for effective grievance redressal.
