Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated the ‘Dekho Meri Dilli’ double-decker electric tourist bus service from Rafi Marg. The bus fare is Rs 500 plus 5% GST for adults, Rs 300 plus 5% GST for children aged five to ten, and free for children under five. The 63-seater bus offers modern amenities, advanced safety features, and a panoramic upper deck for a comfortable travel experience.

Flanked by Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra, the Chief Minister praised the bus as a testament to the government’s forward-thinking policies and successful Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. Launched in collaboration with the Hindujа Group, the bus will start its journey from Delhi Haat, INA, departing daily at 9 a.m. The route includes key attractions like Vijay Chowk, Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, and the National War Memorial before returning to Delhi Haat, INA.

After the unveiling, the Chief Minister, Tourism Minister, media representatives, and officials boarded the bus for a trial run from Rafi Marg to the Prime Minister’s Museum. Tickets for the bus can be booked online on the official Delhi Tourism website or offline at various locations across the city. The initiative aims to position Delhi as a modern and world-class tourism destination, blending historical heritage with modern landmarks.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of balancing modern development with cultural preservation, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. The zero-emission double-decker e-bus aligns with the goal of promoting sustainable development, green mobility, and clean tourism. Minister Mishra highlighted that the bus launch signifies Delhi’s ambition to become a prominent global tourism hub, moving beyond its transit city status.
