Rekha Gupta, Delhi’s Chief Minister, commended the film ‘Aakhri Sawal’ at a special premiere in the national capital. The movie, starring Sanjay Dutt, showcases the 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
Before its official release, the film’s creators hosted a grand premiere in Delhi, making it one of the largest film gatherings in the capital recently. Rekha Gupta attended the screening, where she praised the impactful storytelling and the performances of the cast and director.
After the premiere, she shared her thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), applauding the film’s portrayal of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s century-long journey. She highlighted the film’s focus on the organization’s contributions to nation-building, service, and cultural awareness, along with its depiction of significant episodes in the country’s social and ideological landscape.
Presented by Nikhil Nanda and produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, with co-producers Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand, the film is directed by Abhijeet Mohan Warang, a National Award-winning filmmaker. ‘Aakhri Sawal’ is scheduled for release in theaters on May 15, 2026.
