Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, at a youth event, emphasized the importance of managing the impact of artificial intelligence in today’s digital era. She stressed the need for individuals to wield control over technology rather than being controlled by it. Gupta, a former member of Delhi University’s Students’ Union, highlighted the significance of college life in shaping self-confidence, knowledge, friendships, and leadership skills. She underlined the synergy between development and heritage as pivotal for India’s global leadership role.

Gupta encouraged the youth to view technology as a tool for empowerment rather than a dominating force. She shared her emotional connection with the students at the event and expressed admiration for their enthusiasm and ideas. Emphasizing the role of the youth in driving progress, innovation, and energy, the Chief Minister called upon them to lead the nation with confidence.

In a social media post, Chief Minister Gupta reminisced about her past engagement with Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and praised the current youth for their maturity and determination. She highlighted the collaborative efforts towards a ‘Developed India’ and commended the youth for their ability to translate aspirations into tangible outcomes. The presence of notable figures like Union Minister Jitendra Singh and former Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ added significance to the event.
