Kejriwal, accused in the 2022 Delhi liquor scam, faced backlash for his actions. Gupta highlighted the seriousness of the charges against Kejriwal and criticized his attempts to portray himself as a victim. The Delhi BJP President expressed disappointment in Kejriwal’s actions, stating that his behavior undermines the Constitution and the legal process.
Delhi BJP Spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor also criticized AAP’s Delhi convenor Saurabh Bhardwaj for speaking about public anger against MP Raghav Chadha’s switch to the BJP. Kapoor emphasized that the real public anger is directed at corruption within the AAP government. He mentioned concerns over corruption, election fund extortion, drug issues, and threats to traders in Punjab, predicting AAP’s exit from the state in 2027.
