In a move towards more transparent governance, the Delhi government, in collaboration with IIT Kanpur, is gearing up to introduce an Intelligent Grievance Monitoring System (IGMS). This AI-driven platform will merge various grievance redressal portals in Delhi into a unified dashboard, enhancing efficiency and service delivery for the public.
The current system allows citizens in Delhi to register complaints through different portals, leading to operational inefficiencies like delays and duplication. By integrating these platforms using advanced AI and ML tools, the new IGMS developed by IIT Kanpur aims to streamline the process.
Key features of the IGMS include a Unified Dashboard providing a comprehensive view of grievances filed across multiple portals, Semantic Search for meaningful complaint searches, Root Cause Analysis to identify recurring issues, and Department Prediction and Spam Filtering capabilities.
IIT Kanpur will be responsible for system integration, cybersecurity audits, and portal maintenance, with the goal of bringing greater transparency and efficiency to Delhi’s grievance redressal system. The initiative seeks to leverage technology for improved citizen service and data-driven decision-making, fostering a more responsive and citizen-centric governance approach.
The Intelligent Grievance Monitoring System (IGMS) is an AI and ML-based platform designed to centralize, analyze, and monitor public grievances in Delhi. It aims to boost governmental efficiency, reduce complaint resolution times, and build trust between the government and the citizens.
