To commemorate 12 years of welfare initiatives for the underprivileged led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Delhi government plans to conduct 39 Jan Kalyan Shivirs from June 18 to 20. These camps, as announced by Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma, aim to directly deliver the advantages of various welfare schemes and public services offered by both the Central and Delhi Governments to the people.
In a review meeting held at the Delhi Secretariat, Minister Verma discussed the arrangements for the upcoming Jan Kalyan Shivirs. Representatives from multiple departments, including Food Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Health, Education, and more, were present at the meeting to ensure effective coordination in providing information, assistance, and access to government services in a citizen-friendly manner at the camps.
Emphasizing the importance of public participation, Minister Verma highlighted the government’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of government schemes. He expressed that the primary goal of these camps is to bridge the gap between the government and the citizens, ensuring that every eligible individual can access welfare schemes without any deprivation.
Encouraging the residents of Delhi to attend the Jan Kalyan Shivirs, Minister Verma urged them to take advantage of the information and benefits related to various schemes and services offered by the Central and Delhi governments. The scheduled camps from June 18 to 20 are anticipated to play a crucial role in enhancing public service delivery, promoting good governance, and fostering citizen engagement in Delhi.
