Delhi Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu commended an eight-year-old AI prodigy from Delhi who made waves in the tech industry by becoming the youngest speaker at the India AI Impact Summit 2026. Sandhu met Ranvir Singh Sachdeva in Rishikesh and lauded his advanced understanding of Artificial Intelligence. The Lieutenant Governor expressed admiration for the young talent engaging confidently with future technologies and embracing responsible innovation and digital literacy.
Sandhu, a strong advocate of technology-driven progress, emphasized the importance of innovation, digital infrastructure, and responsible technology for enhancing ease of living and business. At a recent technology conference, he underscored the transformative potential of these elements in building a future-ready and inclusive India. Sandhu also urged Delhi officials to expedite reforms aimed at improving Ease of Living and transitioning to a more facilitative regulatory environment by June 30.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to reducing compliance burdens and enhancing citizens’ quality of life, Sandhu directed officials to ensure that procedural reforms lead to increased efficiency, transparency, and opportunities for the people of Delhi. Additionally, he announced plans to accelerate the Ease of Doing Business Bill, 2026, to simplify approvals and streamline compliance processes. Sandhu instructed officers to implement all remaining priority areas for Ease of Doing Business reforms identified by the Government of India by June 30, 2026.
