Delhi Social Welfare Minister Ravindra Indraj Singh recently oversaw a pledge ceremony in East Delhi’s Shahdara area, urging young people to reject drug abuse and embrace a healthy lifestyle. Attending the “Say Yes to Life, No to Drugs” event organized by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force of Delhi Police, Singh highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering positive societal change.
Singh, accompanied by local MLAs and social workers, also kicked off the “Anuvrat Marathon 2026 – Run for Unity, Say No to Drugs” to promote a drug-free lifestyle among the youth. Additionally, he participated in the inauguration of Shri Baba Tekan Gate in North-West Delhi, emphasizing the significance of sports in nurturing discipline and positivity among young individuals.
During his engagements, Singh stressed the need for ongoing efforts in education, sports, social awareness, and cultural unity for comprehensive societal development. He reiterated the importance of creating a drug-free and empowered community as a fundamental goal of these endeavors.
Wrapping up his activities, the Minister joined a Holi Milan celebration, extending warm wishes to the attendees and underlining the festival’s essence of promoting social harmony, brotherhood, and goodwill.
