Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa commended the people of West Bengal for their considered support towards the BJP as initial election results indicated the party’s lead. Sirsa highlighted Bengal’s history of deliberate governance choices, emphasizing that the electorate does not rush decisions. He noted the shift towards BJP in Bengal after a significant duration, signaling a desire for substantial transformation in the state.
Sirsa drew parallels to Bengal’s political evolution, underscoring the electorate’s past decisions favoring prolonged tenures for different parties. He expressed confidence in BJP’s ability to bring meaningful change to Bengal, citing the electorate’s thoughtful consideration in selecting the party. Responding to Congress’s allegations implicating Mamata Banerjee in BJP’s gains, Sirsa humorously remarked on the voters’ ultimate decision-making power.
The Minister also projected BJP’s future success, predicting the formation of a BJP government in Punjab by 2027. Additionally, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga attributed the party’s success in West Bengal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the unwavering dedication of party workers. Bagga emphasized the collective efforts and sacrifices of BJP workers as instrumental in the party’s victory in the state.
