Delhi Police have apprehended an active burglar connected to a significant office theft at the Patparganj industrial area in East Delhi. The suspect, Aash Mohd., aged 45 and residing in New Islam Nagar, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, was captured after a prompt investigation by the Patparganj Industrial Area Police Station staff.
The burglary, reported on December 17, 2025, by Mohd. Harul Malik, owner of Fast Track Computers, involved the theft of cash and mobile phones from the office premises. Following the complaint, an FIR was lodged, and a specialized team, led by Inspector Satya Prakash, was assembled with support from the ACP of Madhu Vihar.
Through a thorough examination of CCTV footage and local intelligence, the police identified the burglar in Meerut. Aash Mohd. admitted to the crime during questioning and guided the authorities to recover the stolen cash and phones. It was revealed that the accused, a former casual driver for the complainant, utilized his knowledge of the office setup to plan the burglary.
The investigation is ongoing to determine if the suspect was involved in other similar offenses.
