The Delhi Police announced the arrest of two burglars and three individuals involved in receiving stolen goods. The arrests were carried out by the Police Station Palam Village staff in the South West District. The accused were identified as Manoj alias Noni (26) and Akash (26), along with three receivers named Sagar (34), Farender Singh (34), and Munazir (38) from different areas.

Following the arrests, the police successfully recovered stolen items, including a water motor, an HP gas cylinder, two aluminium patellas, and one aluminium lid. The case was registered on April 28 under e-FIR No. 80034817/2026 at PS Palam Village. A dedicated team led by SHO Anant Dhanraj Singh and under the supervision of ACP Anil Kumar, Sub-Division Delhi Cantt, was instrumental in capturing the accused.

During the investigation, the police utilized various tactics such as activating local informers, employing technical surveillance, and analyzing CCTV footage from multiple locations. The analysis of CCTV footage played a crucial role in identifying the suspects. Subsequently, on April 30, specific information led to the apprehension of the accused in the Palam Village area.

Manoj and Akash, both painters by profession and habitual drinkers, confessed to committing burglaries to support their addictions. Sagar, Farender Singh, and Munazir, the receivers of stolen goods, were also taken into custody. The police recovered the stolen items and continue to investigate the case to determine if the accused were involved in other similar crimes.
