The West District Police of Delhi swiftly resolved a robbery case reported at Tilak Nagar Police Station within an hour of the FIR being filed. The incident involved a robbery at blade point near Aqsa Masjid on Main Road, Shyam Nagar, where the victim was threatened with a surgical blade and robbed of Rs 2,100. An FIR was registered under relevant sections, and the investigation was led by Sub-Inspector Mohit Kumar.
Following the complaint, the police activated local informers and conducted raids in nearby areas. Within one hour of the FIR registration, an accused named Aditya alias Mori was apprehended, and Rs 1,400 of the stolen cash along with the weapon used in the crime were recovered from him. The accused, with a history of involvement in criminal cases, was arrested and further investigation is ongoing to locate the co-accused.
Efforts are underway to apprehend the co-accused, and the investigation into the matter is progressing. The accused, aged 20, has a criminal record involving five cases related to robbery and the Arms Act. The successful operation was carried out by a team from the Tilak Nagar police station under the supervision of the SHO and ACP.
