After taking charge of the Home Ministry in the Nitish Kumar government, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has been actively working to address the law-and-order situation in Bihar. He declared that criminals have started fleeing the state, and he aims to drive out the remaining ones within the next three months.
During an event commemorating the seventh death anniversary of former Union Minister Jai Narayan Nishad, Samrat Choudhary criticized RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav. He pledged to focus on improving the crime scenario in Bihar and emphasized the government’s commitment to upholding law and order.
Samrat Choudhary highlighted the importance of good governance in Bihar, mentioning Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s dedication to this cause. He also took a swipe at Lalu Prasad Yadav, citing the free electricity scheme and the government’s efforts to provide 125 units of free electricity to households, including opposition leaders.
Referring to the progress under the Nitish Kumar government, Samrat Choudhary praised the state’s increased fish production, surpassing other regions. He mentioned plans for Bihar to export fish to neighboring states like Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh in the near future.
