India’s Diksha Dagar put up a solid performance at the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, carding a two-under 70 in the third round. Currently tied for 11th place at one-over-par, she is well-placed for a potential top-10 finish in the upcoming final round. Despite challenging weather conditions, including winds and rain, Diksha displayed consistency throughout the round.
Diksha started steadily with three pars before securing her first birdie at the fourth hole. After a bogey at the ninth, she turned at even par but quickly recovered on the back nine. Notably, she scored back-to-back birdies on the 13th and 14th holes, moving up the leaderboard. Her round concluded with four consecutive pars, narrowly missing a birdie putt on the 18th hole.
This performance adds to Diksha’s successful season on the Ladies European Tour in 2026, showcasing her strong form and competitiveness. Unfortunately, India’s Avani Prashanth and Pranavi Urs missed the cut after the second round, unable to advance to the weekend. Meanwhile, South Korea’s Jenny Shin maintained her lead in the tournament, holding a five-shot advantage heading into the final round.
Thailand’s Pajaree Anannarukarn sits in second place at seven-under, with Japan’s Erika Hara and Germany’s Esther Henseleit sharing third place at five-under. As Diksha looks forward to the final round, she aims to secure another top-10 finish and build momentum for the upcoming AIG Women’s Open, the season’s final major event.
