Director Dijo Jose Antony has completed filming his high-budget Malayalam action film, ‘Pallichattambi’, with actor Tovino Thomas in the lead role. Sharing images from the shooting locations on Instagram, the director announced the conclusion of the project, scheduled for release on April 9, 2026. The movie has generated significant anticipation among fans and movie enthusiasts.
Recently, the film unveiled the first look poster of actress Kayadu Lohar, known for her role in the Tamil hit ‘Dragon’, as the female lead alongside Tovino Thomas. Tovino Thomas also shared the poster on his Instagram, expressing excitement for the film’s worldwide release on April 9, 2026.
‘Pallichattambi’, produced by World Wide Films and C Qube Bros Entertainments, aims to showcase Tovino Thomas in a fresh avatar, set against a backdrop of the 1950s–60s era. The film, slated for a global release on April 9, features an ensemble cast including Vijayaraghavan, Sudheer Karamana, Baburaj, and others.
The movie’s script is crafted by S Suresh Babu, with cinematography by Tijo Tomy and music by Jakes Bejoy. Noteworthy contributions come from the associate producers Meghasyam and Thanzeer, costume designer Manjusha Radhakrishnan, and the sound design team at Sync Cinema. Art direction is by Rajesh Menon, and casting is overseen by Binoy Nambala.
