The DMK and CPI-M have criticized the Congress for causing disruptions within the INDIA bloc alliance. The rifts between the Congress and its allies have led to tensions within the opposition coalition. The DMK has decided not to attend the alliance meeting due to the Congress’s actions post the Tamil Nadu elections.
Differences have also emerged within Jharkhand’s ruling alliance regarding seat-sharing for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections. DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai expressed displeasure with the Congress, labeling them as “backstabbers.” He emphasized that the DMK will prioritize the interests of the common people in the country.
CPI-M leader Hannan Mollah highlighted the Congress’s responsibility as the largest party in the alliance.
