The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) observed the 103rd birth anniversary of its former leader M. Karunanidhi in Chennai. Party president M.K. Stalin paid respects at Karunanidhi’s memorial on Marina Beach, with senior party members and supporters in attendance.
Stalin praised Karunanidhi’s dedication to Tamil Nadu and its people, referring to him as a “Tamil national leader.” Despite health challenges in his later years, Karunanidhi remained committed to public service, inspiring many with his tireless work ethic.
Acknowledging the recent electoral setback faced by the DMK, Stalin emphasized the enduring influence of Karunanidhi’s principles. He highlighted the late leader’s role in shaping the party’s past victories and expressed confidence in the DMK’s ability to achieve future electoral success.
