Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services Examination 2025, with Dr. Anuj Agnihotri from Rawatbhata, Rajasthan, securing the first position. His success has brought pride to Rajasthan and his hometown. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla congratulated Dr. Agnihotri and all successful candidates, highlighting the significance of their roles in nation-building.

Anuj Agnihotri, a doctor, had previously cleared the UPSC examination and served as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate in Delhi. After facing ups and downs in his UPSC journey, he finally achieved the top rank in the country. Dr. Agnihotri expressed that success now feels more attainable after a long period of preparation and learning from various sources.

During the interview stage, Dr. Agnihotri faced questions related to medical science and Rajasthan, showcasing his diverse knowledge. He completed his MBBS from AIIMS Jodhpur and excelled academically since his schooling days. His family, including his father working at the Rajasthan Atomic Power Station, expressed immense pride in his achievement.

Candidates from Rajasthan, like Mayank Purohit, Saurabh Sharma, and Ashish Sharma, also performed well in the UPSC examination, reflecting the state’s growing presence in India’s civil services. The results have sparked celebrations across Rajasthan, underscoring the state’s success in this prestigious examination.
