Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla lauded DRDO’s Foundation Day, recognizing its significant role in enhancing India’s security prowess, fostering indigenous defense technologies, and supporting the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. He praised the institution’s innovation and dedication, emphasizing its pivotal role in ensuring strategic security and self-reliance for India’s future challenges.
The Indian Air Force and Indian Army also extended warm wishes to DRDO on its 68th Raising Day, acknowledging the organization’s pivotal contributions to India’s defense landscape. DRDO, established in 1958, aims to bolster India’s self-reliance in science and technology, particularly in defense, through its extensive network of 52 laboratories focusing on critical areas such as aeronautics, armaments, electronics, and missile systems.
