In Bengaluru, a shocking incident unfolded when the driver of an SUV drove a man clinging to the vehicle’s bonnet after a road rage altercation. The police have filed an attempt to murder case against the accused. The victim, Nanjunda, a 36-year-old driver and flower trader, was returning from buying flowers with his nephew driving the vehicle.

After a confrontation at a junction, the car driver allegedly drove off with Nanjunda on the bonnet despite his pleas. Witnesses tried to intervene, but the driver continued until he was stopped by other vehicles near ASC Centre College. The accused, identified as Suresh, was confronted by the public, leading to police action under relevant sections of the law.

Based on the complaint, Halasuru Police have registered a case against Suresh for attempt to murder and intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Investigations are ongoing to address the incident and its aftermath.
