Singer-songwriter Dua Lipa has revealed plans to turn her tour in Mexico into a live album and concert film. Titled ‘Dua Lipa (Live From Mexico)’, the album was recorded during three shows at Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros. The concert film is set to debut on May 21 on her YouTube channel, with the live album following on streaming platforms on May 22.
Physical copies of the album are currently open for preorders and are expected to be shipped on June 5. In a trailer for the film, Lipa shares a heartfelt moment with the audience. She expressed her gratitude, stating, “This tour has been the most beautiful and fulfilling experience of my career so far. You’ve built something bigger than a show. You’ve built a family and I feel that every single night.”
According to reports, Dua Lipa captured the album and film during her ‘Radical Optimism’ tour, culminating in the Mexico City concerts in December 2025. During the shows, she performed a duet with Maná’s Fher Olvera on the band’s 1992 track ‘Oye Mi Amor’. The extensive 92-date tour was in support of her third album, ‘Radical Optimism’, released in May 2024, and saw her perform across five continents, selling over 1.75 million tickets.
This announcement comes following Dua Lipa’s legal action against an appliance brand, where she filed a $15 million lawsuit. The singer claimed that the electronics manufacturer used her likeness to promote TVs without her consent or compensation. Allegedly, Samsung featured Lipa’s image on their TV packaging without her authorization, prompting her to demand they cease using her likeness.
The lawsuit accuses Samsung of a copyright violation, a breach of the California right of publicity statute, a federal Lanham Act claim, and trademark infringements. The legal action was initiated in the Central District of California, claiming that Lipa’s image was exploited for a marketing campaign without her approval or involvement.
