The iconic English band Duran Duran has set strict conditions for their appearance at Glastonbury. They are adamant about not performing unless given a prominent slot at the festival. Frontman Simon Le Bon expressed interest in a hologram show and a Las Vegas residency, emphasizing the importance of the right opportunities.

Duran Duran turned down a previous offer from Glastonbury as it did not meet their expectations. They are determined to secure a headline act position and refuse to settle for anything less. The band’s legacy, with over 100 million records sold, underpins their belief that they deserve a top spot on the Pyramid Stage.

In a podcast interview, Simon Le Bon expressed his desire to perform at Glastonbury with special guests Nile Rogers and Mark Ronson. The band aims for a nighttime slot on the Pyramid Stage, highlighting their aspirations for a significant presence at the renowned festival. Bassist John Taylor hinted at inviting their esteemed collaborators to join them on stage.
