The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to provide feedback on the ECINet App before its official launch later this month. Deputy Director P. Pawan has requested suggestions through the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ tab on the App until January 10. ECINet, a significant initiative led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, was successfully tested during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and bye-elections.
The trial versions of the ECINet App aim to enhance voter services, provide quicker access to polling trends, and publish Index Cards within 72 hours of polls closing, a process that previously took weeks or months. The platform’s ongoing enhancements are based on feedback from various officials, including CEOs, DEOS, EROS, Observers, and field officials. User suggestions will be reviewed to further enhance the platform’s user-friendliness before its official launch this month.
Under the leadership of CEC Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, the development of the ECINet App began on May 4, 2025. The ECINet App consolidates 40 separate election-related applications/websites into a single interface for citizens, including Voter Helpline App (VHA), CVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends, and Know Your Candidate (KYC) App. The App is available for download on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, as per the ECI statement.
