Hollywood actor Elijah Wood revealed that his mother, Debra Krause, focused on raising him as a good person rather than solely on his acting career. Wood, who started acting at 8, credits his mother for safeguarding him from the negative aspects of child stardom. He acknowledged that his mother would have withdrawn him from the industry if she felt it could harm him emotionally.

Elijah Wood, known for his role as Frodo Baggins in ‘The Lord of the Rings’, expressed gratitude for his mother’s approach to his upbringing. Despite his success, Wood emphasized the importance of maintaining perspective and coping with fame. He highlighted the challenges faced by those who experience sudden fame without adequate support systems.

The actor, with nearly 40 years in the industry, remains passionate about his work. Wood admitted that he has never felt disillusioned or weary despite the ups and downs of his career. Reflecting on his journey from child actor to adult roles, he appreciated the diverse experiences and opportunities that shaped his career trajectory.
