The Embassy of India in Tallinn, Estonia, kickstarted the journey to the 12th International Day of Yoga with a curtain raiser yoga session. Collaborating with local partners in Saaremaa Island, Estonia, the event saw active participation from the local community. Similarly, the High Commission of India in Ghana organized yoga sessions at the Presbyterian Cluster of Schools in Osu with Art of Living Ghana.
In Bhutan, the Consulate General of India in Phuentsholing visited Samtse College of Education in preparation for the upcoming International Day of Yoga. Sucheta Chatterjee, Consul General of India in Phuentsholing, made her inaugural visit to Samtse in anticipation of the celebrations at Samtse College of Education. Additionally, the High Commission of India in Gaborone, Botswana, conducted a special yoga session where attendees enthusiastically engaged in the event.
Furthermore, the National Assembly of Seychelles, in partnership with the High Commission of India, hosted a Yoga Session to promote the significance and advantages of yoga across Seychelles. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about yoga as a practice supporting physical health, mental well-being, and cultural exchange. Notably, the leadership of the National Assembly, including the Speaker, Deputy Speaker, Leader of the Opposition, Leader of Government Business, Deputy Clerk, and other Members, actively participated in the session alongside the High Commissioner of India to Seychelles.
