An emotional moment occurred during Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Samriddhi Yatra in Purnea district of Bihar when Food and Consumer Protection Minister Leshi Singh broke down while lauding the Chief Minister. Addressing a group of Jeevika Didis before Kumar’s arrival, Singh expressed gratitude for his efforts in empowering women in the state. She emotionally compared him to Krishna, describing how he supported her family during challenging times.

During the event, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar laid the foundation stone for 8 projects, inaugurated 84 projects, and dedicated them to the people of Purnea. He also visited various departments and addressed a large gathering, highlighting the progress in Bihar since the NDA government took office in 2005. Kumar emphasized the improvements in law enforcement, infrastructure, education, and healthcare under his administration.

Following the program in Purnea, the Chief Minister proceeded to Katihar as part of the ongoing Samriddhi Yatra, where he initiated 186 projects and unveiled 257 projects for public benefit. These initiatives aim to further enhance development in the region. Stringent security and traffic measures were implemented for Kumar’s visit to ensure safety and smooth proceedings.
