Director Sajeev Pazhoor’s upcoming film ‘Enna Vilai’, starring Karunas and Nimisha Sajayan, has clinched the Best Screenplay Award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. This recognition has bolstered the movie’s anticipation ahead of its theatrical debut.
‘Enna Vilai’ is described as a socio-political family thriller that weaves a compelling narrative with intense moments and authentic cinematic style. The filmmakers emphasize that while the award is a significant achievement, the film is tailored for a complete big-screen experience, aiming to resonate with diverse viewers.

The movie stars Karunas and Nimisha Sajayan in lead roles, supported by a talented ensemble cast including Y Gee Mahendran, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Mohan Ram, Lollu Sabha Swaminathan, Kavithayala Krishna, Deepa Shankar, Mottai Rajendran, and Nakkalites Kavi. Shot extensively across 56 locations such as Rameswaram, Chennai, Pondicherry, and Kochi, ‘Enna Vilai’ is gearing up for its theatrical release with further details to be disclosed soon.
