US President Donald Trump announced a significant strike on Venezuela, claiming the capture of President Nicolas Maduro and his wife. The operation, carried out in collaboration with US Law Enforcement, resulted in Maduro being flown out of the country. Venezuela promptly denounced the alleged “military aggression” by the United States, following reports of explosions and aircraft activity over Caracas earlier that day.
