An atmosphere of excitement enveloped Vadodara in Gujarat as preparations escalated for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s grand road show. The procession route adorned in saffron featured around 15 stages showcasing cultural performances from various parts of India, embodying the essence of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’. Artists from different states presented folk dances, with Assam’s traditional Bihu dance captivating the audience. The vibrant ambiance was further enriched by regional cultural displays, drawing a large crowd well before the event commenced.
Residents braved the intense heat, lining the streets eagerly awaiting the Prime Minister’s arrival, while BJP members and supporters arrived early to secure vantage points. Vadodara city BJP President Jayprakash Sone expressed the overwhelming enthusiasm surrounding the road show, emphasizing the pride felt by the workers. Despite the scorching weather, a significant turnout reflected the community’s gratitude for the Prime Minister’s visit.
Members of the Bengali community expressed their joy and anticipation for Prime Minister Modi’s first road show post the Bengal victory. Tapan Das highlighted the community’s happiness and eagerness to welcome the Prime Minister, while Prashant voiced aspirations for West Bengal’s resurgence under Modi’s leadership. Mehul Lakhani, Chairman of the Child Welfare Committee, described the city’s festive spirit, attributing the heightened enthusiasm to the Prime Minister’s visit post the West Bengal election victory, transforming Vadodara into a hub of Modi fervor.
