The Men’s Hockey India League (HIL) 2025–26 final will feature a thrilling clash between Kalinga Lancers and Ranchi Royals at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium. Kalinga Lancers, finishing first in the league, secured their spot in the final by narrowly defeating Ranchi Royals 2–1 in a tense Qualifier 1. Ranchi Royals, displaying resilience, overcame Hyderabad Toofans 3-2 in Qualifier 2 to earn their final berth.

Kalinga Lancers, known for their defensive strength, have allowed only 8 goals this season, with Belgian star Alexander Hendrickx leading with ten goals from penalty corners. Their solid penalty-corner conversion rate of 29.7% makes them a consistent threat. Meanwhile, Ranchi Royals, the most aggressive team in the league, have scored the most goals (25) during the group stage, guided by top scorer Tom Boon.

Both teams are gearing up for a highly anticipated final, with Kalinga Lancers aiming to capitalize on home advantage in Bhubaneswar. The clash promises to be intense, with the Lancers holding a statistical edge having won both previous encounters against Ranchi Royals.
