Tragically, as they moved to apprehend the person, an explosive device detonated, resulting in the deaths of the two officers and the suspect.

The Moscow Department of the Russian Interior Ministry has pledged full support to the victims’ families during this difficult time. Additionally, recent reports highlighted the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov, who succumbed to injuries sustained from an explosive device detonated under a car on Yasenevaya Street in southern Moscow.
Authorities in Russia are exploring various theories surrounding the incidents, including a possible connection to Ukrainian intelligence services in the case of Lieutenant General Sarvarov’s tragic demise.
