Several explosions were reported in southern and central Iran on Monday night and early Tuesday. The blasts occurred in various counties, including Bandar Abbas, Sirik, Bandar Lengeh, Qeshm, Chabahar, and Konarak. Air defenses in Bushehr were activated to respond to potential threats.

On early Tuesday, an explosion was heard in Shiraz in the south, while two explosions were reported in Isfahan in central Iran. These incidents coincided with the announcement of a new round of strikes by US Central Command against Iran. The strikes aim to diminish Iranian military capabilities affecting commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army also reported responding to missile and drone threats on Tuesday. In recent days, the US has conducted multiple strikes on Iran, targeting its ability to disrupt commercial shipping. Iran, in turn, has retaliated with missile and drone attacks on US military sites in regional countries.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described the situation as a “full-scale war” with the US. However, Iran remains open to diplomatic solutions, as indicated by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed launching retaliatory missile and drone strikes against US assets in Jordan and Kuwait.
