The family of the deceased NEET student from Jehanabad has publicly voiced dissatisfaction with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe, citing delays and lack of impartiality. During a press conference in Patna, the victim’s mother demanded justice and alleged murder in the case, advocating for the strictest punishment, including the death penalty.
The mother announced plans to visit political leaders’ residences in Patna starting June 17, presenting a list of 21 questions related to the investigation. She threatened to escalate the matter to the public if unsatisfactory responses are received, emphasizing the need for justice.
Accompanying individuals at the press conference raised concerns about the CBI investigation, alleging lack of impartiality, delay in filing a charge sheet, and pressure on the family for DNA samples. They vowed to approach ministers and political leaders across Bihar for a fair investigation, aiming to keep the case in the spotlight.
The controversy has sparked political discussions in Bihar, with calls for transparency and accountability in the ongoing investigation.
