Actor Farhan Akhtar has discussed his journey into acting, highlighting how early opportunities influenced his decision to venture into the field. Farhan credited his friend Anand Surapur and director Abhisek Kapoor for encouraging him to take on leading roles in their films, which sparked his interest in acting.
Farhan Akhtar, known for his directorial debut with “Dil Chahta Hai,” transitioned to acting with the musical drama “Rock On,” which earned him a National Film Award. His acting repertoire includes acclaimed films like “Luck By Chance,” “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag,” “Dil Dhadakne Do,” and “120 Bahadur,” where he portrayed Major Shaitan Singh, a Param Vir Chakra awardee in the historical war drama set during the 1962 Sino-Indian War.
