Farmers who contributed thousands of acres for the Noida International Airport will be passengers on its first flight on Monday. Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh mentioned that it’s a historic event where these farmers will now fly from the airport they helped build. The inaugural flight is set to depart at 8:00 AM, heading directly to Lucknow.
The Noida International Airport, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 28, will witness this unique moment. Singh expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for realizing the farmers’ aspirations. He emphasized that the flight symbolizes the progress and aspirations of the people in Uttar Pradesh.
Singh noted that the farmers, including women and those displaced by the airport’s construction, will be part of this significant journey. The aim is to make air travel accessible to all, fulfilling the vision of both PM Modi and CM Adityanath. The flight will depart from Jewar at 8:00 AM, with plans for the Chief Minister to engage with the farmers upon arrival in Lucknow.
Prime Minister Modi, during the airport’s inauguration, envisioned it as a catalyst for Uttar Pradesh’s development, providing opportunities for the state’s youth. This airport is a significant step towards a more developed Uttar Pradesh, as per PM Modi’s remarks.
