One person died, and two others were injured in a tragic head-on collision involving a speeding car and a motorcycle in Shahdol district, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place on Hardi main road under the Khairha police station jurisdiction. The deceased, identified as 52-year-old Ramrasile Singh from Dhamni Kala, was on his way to a wedding with two companions when the car crashed into their motorcycle.
Ramrasile Singh lost his life instantly due to the impact, while his two companions suffered severe injuries. The collision caused chaos in the area, prompting local residents to rush to the scene to help. Authorities were notified promptly, and the Khairha Police arrived to manage the situation and transport the injured to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.
Following an initial investigation, the police seized both the damaged motorcycle and the car involved in the crash. A case has been filed against the car driver for reckless and high-speed driving, leading to his arrest. The deceased’s body underwent a post-mortem examination before being released to his family for final rites. As investigations continue, there is growing public concern over the incident.
In a separate incident on the Betul-Athner road, a man was discovered unconscious under a bridge, with signs indicating a possible hit-and-run involving an unidentified vehicle. The man, lacking identification papers, was admitted to Betul district hospital with injuries to his head and body.
