As C. Joseph Vijay assumed office as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, his father, S.A. Chandrasekhar, became emotional, recalling the hardships he faced to support his family. Chandrasekhar, a renowned filmmaker, expressed pride in his son, highlighting Vijay’s commitment to fulfilling promises.
He shared that seeing his son become Chief Minister was a long-held dream now realized. Chandrasekhar praised Vijay’s integrity, noting his consistent dedication to keeping his word since childhood. Wilson expressed the joy of Tamil Nadu residents witnessing their own become the Chief Minister after a three-year wait. He emphasized Vijay’s unprecedented move to announce a White Paper on state finances, a first in Tamil Nadu’s history. In his inaugural address, CM Vijay humbly acknowledged his humble beginnings, emphasizing his commitment to transparent governance and welfare-oriented policies.
