The team behind director Tharun Bhascker’s highly anticipated ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat’, starring Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu, has kicked off a month-long shoot in Thailand. The original film, ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi’, resonated well with audiences, especially the youth, for its genuine portrayal of friendship and aspirations, becoming a cult favorite over time. Following its success, the decision was made to create a sequel, ‘Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi Repeat (ENE Repeat)’, with the current filming taking place in Thailand.
Vishwak Sen, Abhinav Gomatam, and Venkatesh Kakumanu are reprising their roles in the sequel, joined by Srinath Maganti. Director Tharun Bhascker is at the helm once more, promising the same unique storytelling style, with Srujan Yarabolu and Sandeep Nagireddy producing the film under S Originals and Rootnode Cinema. The filming in Thailand is currently ongoing and is expected to continue for a month, capturing a relaxed and charming atmosphere on set.
The sequel aims to revive the carefree essence and lively dynamics of the original gang, known as the “Team Kanyaraasi” group. With the return of the core team, including familiar faces, the movie seeks to evoke nostalgia among viewers. Additionally, the technical crew for the sequel includes Vivek Sagar for music composition, AJ Aaron as the cinematographer, and Raviteja Girijala overseeing the editing process.
