Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur shared a touching story about his mother’s love that transcended boundaries. While filming in London, his mother, who was unwell, waited eagerly to speak with him. Unfortunately, she passed away before he could fulfill his promise of taking her to London.

Years later, when clearing out his parents’ house after his father’s death, Kapur found a heartfelt note from his mother. The discovery made him reconsider selling the house, realizing the immense emotional value it held for him.

Reflecting on the moment, Kapur expressed his struggle with the idea of selling the house that carried his mother’s blessings. The note, with just three words – “God bless you, beta” (Son), deeply moved him and made him question the decision to part with a place filled with his mother’s love.
