An FIR has been lodged against Uttar Pradesh Congress chief, Ajay Rai, for making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The complaint, filed by BJP leader Neeraj Rawat, also names outgoing secretary Brijraj and 30 unidentified supporters who were present during Rai’s visit to Mahoba. Rawat expressed dismay over Rai’s disrespectful comments towards the Prime Minister, emphasizing Modi’s contributions to the nation.
The video showing Ajay Rai using inappropriate language against PM Modi went viral on social media, prompting strong criticism from the BJP. BJP National Spokesperson C.R. Kesavan condemned Rai’s remarks, labeling the Congress Party as a hub of derogatory elements under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. Additionally, Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar denounced Rai’s offensive language and criticized Rahul Gandhi for his recent ‘traitor’ remark against the Prime Minister.
Police officials confirmed that legal action is being taken against Ajay Rai for obstructing official duties and making indecent comments about the Prime Minister. The incident, which occurred during Rai’s interaction with supporters in Mahoba, has sparked controversy and drawn condemnation from various political figures.
