A fire erupted early Friday at a Tata Communications’ facility in Greater Kailash-I, New Delhi, housed within the Next-Gen Tower premises. Swift emergency response teams managed to bring the fire under control, with no casualties reported. Tata Communications, in a regulatory filing, confirmed the incident at a company operating from leased premises within the tower.

The cause of the fire and the extent of any potential damage remain undisclosed by Tata Communications. The company activated its business continuity protocols post-incident to ensure uninterrupted services for customers relying on the data center at the site. Tata Communications assured that it is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

Despite the fire, there has been no determination of its cause yet. Both Tata Communications and the authorities have refrained from issuing any statements regarding the incident.
