The 57th edition of Fit India Sundays on Cycle took place nationwide, attracting people from various backgrounds to celebrate fitness and sustainability. Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya and G. Kishan Reddy led the events in Gondal and Hyderabad, respectively, with over 1,000 cyclists participating. Launched in December 2024, this initiative has become a popular movement, engaging millions across the country.
In Gondal, 250 cyclists joined the event, showcasing the growing appeal of the program. Participants shared how cycling had strengthened community bonds, with one individual noting its positive impact on their daily life. Minister Mandaviya emphasized the health benefits and environmental advantages of cycling, highlighting its role in fostering a sense of community.
The event in Hyderabad, attended by dignitaries and sports icons, focused on reintroducing physical activity into modern lifestyles. Minister G. Kishan Reddy stressed the importance of combating health issues through daily movement, echoing the Prime Minister’s vision for a Healthy India. Pullela Gopichand commended the initiative’s consistency and scale, attributing its success to strong leadership.
