Five Uttar Pradesh policemen lost their lives in a tragic road accident on the KMP Expressway in Haryana’s Nuh district. The incident occurred when a speeding SUV they were traveling in collided with another vehicle near the Dhulawat toll plaza around 10.30 a.m.
The policemen, who were stationed in UP’s Jalaun district, were involved in the accident. The black SUV, attempting to overtake a vehicle, veered out of control and crashed into another vehicle, resulting in the fatal collision.
Authorities identified the victims as Uttar Pradesh Police personnel from Jalaun district. An investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of the accident. The collision caused a commotion on the expressway, leading to traffic disruptions and a rescue operation to retrieve the victims from the overturned SUV.
The rescue team faced challenges in extracting the bodies from the mangled vehicle. The victims’ identities were confirmed through recovered identification cards. Cranes were brought in to clear the wreckage and restore traffic flow on the expressway after the tragic incident.
