Former actress Ishika Taneja, founder of the Ishika Shree Mahalakshmi Foundation, highlighted the importance of reconnecting with India’s cultural heritage. She expressed support for the concept of a Hindu nation, emphasizing the need for spiritual values, service, and strength to progress as a country.
Ishika Taneja, now a spiritual advocate after embracing Sanatan Dharma, is actively encouraging young people to follow a religious path. Through the Shri Mahalakshmi Foundation, she has initiated the ‘Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyan’ to promote recognition and respect for various forms of Goddess Lakshmi.
Under the Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyan, Ishika aims to connect the eight forms of Ashta Lakshmi with different societal pillars. She associates Gaja Lakshmi with ministers, Veer Lakshmi with the Army, Vijay Lakshmi with judges, Santan Lakshmi with youth, and Aishwarya Lakshmi with media. This campaign spans across eight states, aiming to integrate these forms with Dharma.
Delegations from India and abroad are participating in the initiative, showcasing the inclusivity and beauty of Sanatan Dharma. Ishika believes that recognizing India’s roots and understanding Sanatan Dharma are crucial steps towards the country evolving into a Hindu Rashtra.
Regarding the Union Budget, Ishika Taneja sees reflections of Hinduism and Sanatan values. She views the budget, presented on Maghi Purnima, as a symbol of inclusivity and care for all sections of society. Through the Mahalakshmi Bharat Abhiyan, she aims for unity and the prevalence of saffron in every aspect.
