Taking a trip down memory lane, Anu Aggarwal, a former actress, reminisced about a scene from her 1993 movie “Khal-Naaikaa,” which was perceived as bold by many. In the film, she portrayed a manipulative nanny who breastfeeds the child of the family she works for, a plot point inspired by the thriller “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle.”
Anu shared three images from the film on Instagram, showcasing the scene where she breastfeeds the baby. She expressed that for her, the scene was not bold but rather a portrayal of life itself. As an actor, she had to detach from her personal beliefs to authentically portray the character.
Directed by Saawan Kumar, “Khal-Naaikaa” features Anu Aggarwal alongside Jeetendra and Jaya Prada. The movie, based on “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,” revolves around a pregnant woman seeking revenge after her husband’s suicide due to false sexual harassment accusations.
Anu Aggarwal, who debuted in 1990, appeared in several Hindi films following her debut, including “Ghazab Tamasha” and “Ram Shastra.” Her final film, “Return of Jewel Thief,” released in 1996, featured a star-studded cast including Dharmendra and Jackie Shroff. An unfortunate car accident in 1999 left Anu in a coma for nearly a month, erasing her memory of her past life.
